Ghazi Faisal Binzagr, Ph.D.
Dr.Binzagr holds a B.S in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, A masters Degree in International Management, from Thunderbird and a Ph.D. in Management with a minot in Organizational Development, from New Mexico State University. His Ph.D. Thesis focused on transformation and pro-active change.
Dr.Binzagr is a fourth generation member of the Binzagr family business, which started as a trading company in the Arabian Peninsula more than one hundred and thirty years ago.
He serves his family business in various capacities. He is the Deputy Chairman of Arabian Stores Co Ltd (Sarawat Superstores).
He is also a Board Member of Binzagr Unilever, Binzagr Co-Ro Marine Transport company Ltd and he is also the President of Wisaal ,a company he founded for Human and Community Development. in addition, Dr. Binzagr is currently overseeing various efforts and initiatives for strategic human development and capacity building within the Binzagr Group.
Since earning his Ph.D. in 1997, Dr.Binzagr has expanded his intrests from organizational development to also inculde the theory and practice of human, community and holistic regional development. He directs all his volunteer efforts in the service of such issues.
Dr.Binzaggr is an active volunteer in the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) where he serves in committees for the development of training and retail.
He is a JCCI member of International Relations Committee, (IRC), a board member of Jeddah Marketing Board (JMB) and a board member of Khadijah Bint Kuwailid.
Dr.Binzagr is an active contributor and member of the Honorary Advisory Board at Effat University , the first Private university for women in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and also a Board Member of Banawi Group.
Dr.Binzagr is a former member of HRH Prince Migrin Bin Abdel Aziz's Think Tank Group set up specifically to advise on regional development in Madinah Region. He has also server under the direction of HRH as a volunteer in various roles related to education, human resource and community development.
Dr.Binzagr is a former contributor to the city's annual Jeddah Economic Forum both as a speaker and adviser and Chair of the International Relations Committee (IRC).
Dr.Binzagr's passion and life long quest has always centered on questions to understanding human patterns for improvement and overall development of the community for the betterment of society.
