He was born in Ashiqr (a village near Shakraa city) in 1935, the Saudi businessman; Omar Suleiman AlAbd Al-Latif had previously founded and chaired the Board of Directors of AlAbd Al-Latif Holding Group, which includes AlAbd Al-Latif Industrial Investment Company, which is considered the largest producer of carpets, rugs and blankets in the Kingdom, the company listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange «Tadawl», and there are many subsudries under AlAbd Al-Latif Industrial Investment Group of Companies such as; astern Textile Company, Adfa Blankets Company, the National Company for Spinning, Nadine Arab company for colors, and Shahd factory for paper products. Omar AlAbd Al-Latif owns also AlAbd Al-Latif for furniture which is one of the largest institutions in the sale of furniture and furnishings in the Kingdom, as well as Omar AlAbd Al-Latif Real Estate company, which owns several real estate projects.
Omar AlAbd Al-Latif was awarded the Medal of King Abdul Aziz of the first degree in recognition of his efforts and self made in the industrial, commercial areas and as an honor of his social contributions.
