He was from Jeddah, who enjoyed a unique business mind. He bwgan his career by buying goods from merchants available on board ships that pass in Jeddah. In the early Hijri sixties he opened the most modern petrol station, and established the largest auto repair shop. He also began importing auto parts, and obtained a number of commercial agencies (tires, batteries, paints, household electrical appliances).
In 1375 H, he obtained the agency of Toyota for the automotive industry. The event constitutes the great startup to establish one of the largest trading companies under the name (Abdul Latif Jameel Group), and run for the time being, by his son, Mohammed Abdul Latif Jamee. It became classified at the global level among the top global companies. He had many charitable activities, and helped the needy inside and outside the Kingdom, and building ligaments to house the elderly and widows.
